Our rate was Passport America price. We stayed 3 days and that was 2 days to long. All the good sites are taken by permanent residents. We made reservations 1 1/2 month ahead of time for a 50A site but once we arrived, we were given a 30A site and told they had no record our reservation. The Park Managment's response was "You Passport people want a 50A, Pull-through site for half the price." The 30A site we were on had the hook-ups on the wrong side. The entrance into park is very tricky with sharp curve at entrance. If you are coming from the North; you have to pass the campground and turn around and approach from the South because the entrance turn is so sharp. Like mentioned in other review, train tracks run within 150 feet from campground and it sounds like its coming through your camper. I would not stay here again even for 1 night.

Nice, quiet family ran CG. Owners on site with any problems which may occur. Restrooms old but kept clean w/hot showers. Laundry room consisted of 2 washers and 4 dryers. Close to lake and downtown Chippewa with all the favorite stores and restaurants. Our rate was based on weekly rate w/one night free. Large spacious sites with plenty of shade but I was still able to get satellite with no problems. I would of rated this CG higher if full hook-ups were available and restrooms were updated. With CG being small, dump station is within easy walk w/Blue boy if needed. Their "Greeting letter" stated that they had free mobile sewer service if needed. (Didn't use). Would stay here again. I updated map but it would be a good idea to call for GPS or directions because there are no signs until you get to 190th Street turn.

WOW! What a great COE facility. One of the nicest we have stayed in. Like mentioned in another review, the entrance road can be a bit slow going if pulling a large 5th wheel. Sites are large and spacious. Plenty of shade tress but well maintained and thinned out so satellite reception was not a problem. Ours was a Golden Age Passport price. Original price would had been $24 for a full hook-up site. Limited number of full hook-up sites so reserve ahead of time. The sites on the water all have electric but not many have water so plan ahead. Wish we could had stayed in the area longer. We will definitely stay here again.

Daily rates are $20, weekly rate is $100. Nice and convenable campground right off of Hwy. 2 The campground is ran by the State Park Dept. The lake isn't as big as expected with a lot of surface algae growth which made it hard to fish from the bank. If you had a boat, it would be perfect. The mosquitoes where bad which kept us in our camper a lot. If the wind was blowing it kept them down. The 9 hole golf course within 1/4 of a mile was well kept with really nice greens and reasonable rates. The city of Larimore has a small grocery store, two local restaurants and two gas stations. The town people were really friendly. We were there during "Larimore Days" which allowed us to really visit with the locals. A short drive to Grand Forks Air Force Base (10 miles) and Grand Forks is a 30 mile trip where you will find all the "Big City" stores and restaurants.

Very nice CG. The only thing that would make this CG a 10 would have been if they had water at the sites. We were able to fill our water tank at the entrance which got us through the week. There are water spigots throughout the CG but the one closest to us was missing its handle. With no water at the sites, they should at least have all the spigots working properly. The restrooms were very clean with good pressure and hot water. We had no problem getting our satellite tuned in even with the large shade tress which were nice. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This is a nice city RV Park. Host were friendly and provided us with alot of information about what to see in the area. The park is situated at the foot of Scotts Bluff National Monument which can be seen from campground. Restrooms and showers were clean with hot water. Laundry consisted of two washers and two dryers. The sites are paved and level with a concrete patio. Adequate space between sights allowed for privicy and room for slide-outs. We would definintly stay here again.
